In this class you are invited to connect with your body and your baby to prepare for birth and motherhood. Expect to move with your breath and intention in a slow flowing practice with gentle opening, strengthening, breathing, visualization and relaxation techniques in preparation for an empowered and joyful birth. New and seasoned yoga practitioners are welcome to experience this uniquely feminine way of practicing.

This four week childbirth class is open to the community, but is designed especially for Magnolia Birth Center clients who are planning an unmedicated birth.  This class is fun and discussion-based so bring your questions!

To register, please contact instructor Suronda Ricketts, RN at surondar@yahoo.com or call 336-669-5644.  Class is offered at no cost for Magnolia Birth Center clients, and $120 per couple for outside students.  A new 4-week series typically begins on the first Thursday of each month.  This class is not appropriate for children.

Please note – if you are planning to labor or birth in a tub, you must take the Waterbirth Essentials class separately.

Problem-solving, latch and weight checks for a reasonable cost in a non-judgmental, supportive group environment with Certified Lactation consultant Linda Coppola from Peaceful Beginnings and Magnolia nurse Leah Dunlap.  Cost is $25 for a two hour session.  Register with Linda at lindacoppola55@gmail.com or call 336-255-8311.  Open to all breastfeeding moms and nursing babies/children.
